Anthony Burrill

I have always been a fan of Burrill's work. Sometimes playful, often mood-inspiring and always confidently positive in form, shape and tone. Much of his work is crafted within the realms of printmaking and as a result, colour, composition and simplicity are always astutely considered...
More recently I came across his Geometry In Nature series (pictured above). Which similarly to the way I've approached the topic so far, observes the way form and shape exist harmoniously in a static environment, encouraging a certain mood or emotional reaction as a result. Crisp clean lines in both colour and two tone black and white, laser cut into plastic.

More of Anthony Burrill's work can be viewed on his website here.
